Until April 30th 2017, the Itinéraires des Photographes Voyageurs festival invites the public to see fifteen exhibitions with fifteen individual views of our planet. These are being held in Bordeaux’s main cultural venues, both public and private.
For more than a quarter of a century this festival has moved with the evolution of photography in step with its stylistic and technical revolutions by presenting photographs by the most diverse artists. From the Rocher de Palmer in Cénon to the Salle Capitulaire in the Cour Mably in the city centre, this 27th edition offers visitors the chance to create their own itinerary through the exhibitions, and to discover the works of established professional photographers or those from the new generation.
Featuring in the programme prepared by the curators, Nathalie Lamire-Fabre and Vincent Bengold are: Anne-Sophie Costenoble (Vagues noires), Nia Diedla (Maleza), Aurélia Frey (La vie repose sur du silence), Manon Lanjouère (Bleu glacé), Marie Mons (Aurore Colbert), Marie Moroni (Ibaba), LLuc Queralt (En transit), Robert Ramser (Nombreuses sont mes naissances passées), Max Riché (Climat Heroes), Eric Supiot (Une cinquième saison), Simon Tanguy (Almost home), Alex Troesch & Aline Paley (Los tribales), Sébastien Van Malleghem (North-Road), Antoine Vinces de Tapol (Le silence brûle), Patrick Wack (Out West).
