First, look past the “fashion” aspect of this exhibition, which isn’t, at the end, hardly repulsive. Doing that will allow you to ask the questions you have about intimacy and religion and how to retranscribe them. Terry Richardson offers viewers a journey to the Far West. We navigate the troubled waters in this peculiar American culture that distills sex and mystical sermons through an industry that is equally lucrative for both.
