Autograph in Shoreditch hosts a new exhibition of work by London photographers aged 16-19, responding to the rapidly changing political and social climate they live in.
The artists in Common Ground take an autobiographical approach in their practice, exploring issues around sexual identity, communities and race.
This is Autograph’s sixth annual student showcase, featuring 20 photographers aged 16-19 who have worked with Autograph and UAL Insights in the Album programme.
Album provides access to professional artists, curators, and mentors, as well as Autograph’s archive – supporting a new generation of photographers interrogating their own stories and identities.
Exhibiting Artists: Sumaiya Ahmed, Fatimah Al-Zahraa Zahmoul, Madalina Anghel, T’Shan Barnes, Khamin Black, Holly Chung, Leigha Cohen, Tonya Elizabeth James, Kimberley Lee, Shakyrah Lodge, Benedicte Lungwa-Loussi, Thomas Norris, Nasteh Othman, Luisa Petti, Greta Pozaricka, Elizabeth Seymour, Filip Skiba, Michelle Sliwowska, Greta Stepanyan, Genesis Tennison.
