Le Journal has a policy to never cover workshops or portfolio readings unless they’re free. However, we received an excellent selection of portfolios from Véronique Sutra, director of the workshop Eyes in Progress. We decided to make an exception.
In 2012, up to 60 photographers, professionals or amateurs were part of the first Eyes in Progress workshops’ program. They have passionately exchanged with acclaimed masters of photography and learned from them and also from one another. Le Journal de la Photographie and Eyes in Progress presents today a selection of their portfolios, most of them are those of young professionals but not only, they also are the work of skilled amateurs.
Eyes in Progress is a program of workshops provided by masters of photography. After the workshop, Eyes in Progress website features the participants’ portfolios, video interviews and an evaluation of the work by photo professionals.
