As part of the Perpetual Revolution’s exhibition, the International Center of Photography (ICP) is organizing a discussion on imagemaking and Queer visual culture through its history and conception. The discussion will take place at the heart of ICP space in Bowery, New York. Photographer Melody Melamed and poet, translator, critic and activist Michael M. Weinstein will discuss together.
Melody Melamed is a graduated photographer from University of California and the School of Visual Arts (New York). Her works question the perception of queer identity, the intimacy of body and identity changes.
Michael M. Weinstein is a PhD candidate at Harvard University and a frequent contributor at the New Yorker. His works focus on language, poetics, aesthetics and representations of gender and sexuality.
