This exhibition creates a dialogue between photographs from the collections of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie and the Musée National de la Marine. It enables both formal and conceptual comparisons, and shows convergences between two collections that are very remote from each other in terms of both history and content. Whereas the MEP collection, which represents different forms of contemporary art photography, is well known to the general public, the Musée de la Marine collection is far less familiar.
