Photo agency VII and the non-profit association Human Rights Watch team up for a limited photographic prints sale. The photographs are taken from works by the agency’s photographers, such as Joachim Ladefoged, Ron Haviv or Antonin Krachovil or Alexandra Boulat. These photographs are sold for a single price of $ 100, for a size of 8″ by 10″.
Agency VII is also selling a box of 28 images priced at $ 2,000.
Among the selected prints, the photograph of John Stanmeyter, first of our selection. The American photographer took an inflatable balloon merchant in the streets of Kabul. The photograph delivers his impressions. “ After more than six years of extreme ideological control, the secret lives of children, once hidden away in cellars, under beds, and in locked trucks, emerged, and in some cases just moments after the Taliban were ousted.”
