The Galerie Turetsky in Geneva presents an exhibition of Catherine Gfeller called Voices in Kyev.
Back in 2017, I was commissioned by the Embassy of Switzerland to celebrate the 25th year anniversary of the bilateral relation between our two countries. The artwork entitled Voices in Kyiv (photographs, videos, sound installations) were exhibited in the Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv along with the publication of a book written by Andrey Kurkov.
With this exhibitions , I would like to invite visitors to immerse themselves in Kyiv, to know its citizens, to discover the deep thoughts of its writers, and to sense its rich architecture through the eyes of an artist, certainly as a contrast with the images of the war presented in the media.
