Do not trust the title of the exhibition “Portraits” of British photographer Trisha Groves. If the exhibition brings out a gallery of portraits, they’re not about the many personalities she photographed during her career, but about dogs and cats. Her approach: to not photograph them like animals, but reveal all the humanity in their gaze , through portrait studio , as if they were human beings. The result is a collection of characters, “mugs”, where the photographer reveals the humorous personalities of these dogs and cats.
