From the 20th to 30th of September 25 takes place the second edition of the International Photo Festival Incadaquès, in Cadaquès the mythical Catalan village of Dali on the Costa Brava.
On the program, about thirty exhibitions including one by Thierry Valencin that we have chosen to present.
For thirty years, Thierry Valencin has continued his photographic journey, between shootings and lab work.
As a traveler, his journey took him across Europe, India and Russia and he exhibited in Belgium, Germany and Spain.
Without being attached to a particular theme, he strolls while his eye takes in what attracts him. Then come the long printing sessions in his dark room.
His prints are exhibited in his studio in Paris.
The Atelier Valencin, a real laboratory, this gallery located in the center of Paris, is also a place of meetings and exchanges.
He has published two books, “On the Edge of the Other” and “Seen from the Moment”.
In 2015 in collaboration with two other photographers he opened a photography gallery in Arles “Galerie Iso”.
