In France, the photographer for this 2022 summer is most certainly our colleague Hans Silvester. After a short trial run in Arles, but not during the famous Rencontres, he chose the no less famous Féria to settle at the Docks. Lots of people, lots of visitors. The only talented photographer present on the site, the success was there.
And, the exhibitions follow one another at a steady pace with his involvement, for decades he has always been on the lookout – drowned in nature – in the midst of Life.
A start on the Phébus de Joucas site (the setting of the Mathieu family) with large panels, of free-range chickens across the planet with an installation from June 17 until October 17, 2022.
On June 18, his scarecrows settled, until September 30, 2022, in the Domaine de la Tuilière in Murs.
On the first of July, it was the turn for the city of Rodez to open an exhibition with the works of Hans on the forecourt of its cathedral.
The closing of this summer is already scheduled with the traditional invitation of the photographs of the omnipresent Hans Silvester to Phot’Aubrac, in September 2022.
I am cannot tell you about all the many pictures exhibited in the various summer cultural events.
