The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has announced the launch of the PA2F Environmental Photography Award
Entries are open now and until 28th March 2021 for this free-to-enter award that comes complete with a €10,000 prize fund, a month-long exhibition in the Principality of Monaco, and a commemorative book.
The grand prize winner will take home €6,000, the title of “PA2F Environmental Photographer of the Year 2021” and receive an invite to the Monaco exhibition in May, including travel and accommodation.
The award is being launched in the 15th anniversary year of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and will run annually with the aim of raising awareness of environmental issues. It will reward photographers who are putting their creativity and skill to good use in documenting the current state of our world, and conservation efforts that offer hope for the future.
In this inaugural year the focus is on wildlife, with the theme ”Humanity and Wildlife: Crossed Destinies, Shared Territories”. Entries are welcomed across three categories: Incredible Wildlife; Wildlife in Crisis; and Reasons for Hope. Photographers can enter up to 5 images into each category.
