The Oversea Press Club hosted its yearly awards dinner, its 72nd, on the evening of April 28th. Journalists, writers and photographers, were honored for the heroic, and inspiring work they do in bringing the truth of a situation from places, in some instances, of great danger. This year’s event was especially difficult with the recent passing of Tim Hetherington, whose parents were in the audience, and Chris Hondros, whose fiancee was present. Nevertheless, many important bodies of work were seen and acknowledged, including the portfolios of the following four winning and present photographers.
