The Foire Internationale de la Photo will be held on 3 and 4 June in Bièvres, in Essone. It is one of the largest markets of the occasion and photographic antiquities of Europe. Created by Jean and André Fage, founders of the photoclub of Bièvre and of the French Museum of Photography, it is celebrating its sixty-fourth edition. Every year passionate of old cameras and curious there press to find the pearl rare.
The fair will also be animated by exhibitions, meetings, debates and screenings, with a guest of honor, the Spanish Isabel Muñoz. A great retrospective is devoted to her. Christian Izorce will also show his series on girls going to school in Burkina Faso, while the French Museum of Photography will present its exhibition Tous Photographes. Also worth noting are the exhibitions of Isabelle Moison and the talents of the local photographers.
The market of occasions and rarities welcomes more than two hundred exhibitors. There are travel rooms, photospheres, movie cameras or simple rare books.
