The end of the 90s and the beginning of the decade 2000 was a difficult mutation for the Festival. The initiation of the technological revolution that would follow, the multiplication of other photographic manifestations are not immediately perceived by those responsible. It was not until the arrival of François Hébel in 2002 that would give Arles it’s primordial place once again.
