To protect photography, the artists, their works. The mission may seem grandiose; it is largely based on copyright. Unlike its musical sister SACEM, the French Society of Authors in the Graphic Arts and Plastics (ADAGP) remains unknown to the general public. Its action deserves a spotlight. Visual artists, ceramists, painters, graffiti artists, designers, comics authors and photographers trust the society.
