Terra, at the Fondation Goodplanet, a place dedicated to ecology and humanity

Preview

The Fondation Goodplanet, located in the Longchamp estate, aims to be a meeting point for nature and mankind in Paris, opened its doors this weekend. Its 3.5 hectares of classified, wooded parkland, its château, its medieval tower, its clearing, its exhibitions, its concerts, its lectures, its screenings, its catering, its kitchen garden, its orchard, its herb garden, its beehives, its insect hotels… There are a great many things to see, hear, touch, taste and smell, and it’s free. Among its current events there is Terra, an exhibition of photographs inspired by Michaël Pitiot et Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s film of the same name and a selection of which we are showing you here. “For forty years, I have seen the face of the Earth change and from my journeys and encounters the result has resulted the need to build a place of goodwill and living together dedicated to humanity and ecology”, said Yann Arthus-Bertrand, photographer, producer, and president of the Fondation Goodplanet. “The Longchamp Estate, is free and open to everyone, a unique place where entertaining installations about the environment are mixed with artistic offerings, opens its doors in Paris. Everyone can draw on the material there to reflect, think, take action and invent a more durable and inclusive world. Action brings happiness!”
