Fork is Tanguy Sergheraert‘s second book, it is distributed by Art & Paper.
Instinct is this reaction anchored in the body of the human being, A reaction which makes the body know before the brain.
Accompanied by his cameras, Tanguy thus evolves through multiple landscapes, with this instinct as a compass which pushes him to trigger when a moment of life passes.
Traveling the coasts of Senegal, from Saint-Louis to Casamance via the frenetic city of Dakar, “Fork*” tells of these fragments of life, scattered along the Atlantic coast, with the sea as a guide.
Both horizon and edge, independent and irrepressible, it is a contradictory space where reflections and lights mingle.
Evolving in a continuous movement, it carries and pushes back pieces of the landscape.
Tanguy follows the sea and seizes what it offers him, attracted by a texture, a color, a look, he thus traces his own route following the different forks in the road of his instinct.
