Fork
Instinct is that reaction rooted in the human body, the reaction that makes the body know before thought.
Accompanied by his cameras, Tanguy moves through the many landscapes, with this instinct as a compass that pushes him to release the shutter when a moment of life passes.
Travelling along the coast of Senegal, from Saint-Louis to Casamance, via the frenetic city of Dakar, “Fork*” recounts these fragments of life, scattered along the Atlantic coast, with the sea as his guide.
At once horizon and edge, independent and irrepressible, it is a contradictory space where reflections and light mingle. Evolving in a continuous movement, it pulls in and pushes out bits of landscape.
Tanguy follows it and seizes what it offers him, attracted by a texture, a color, a look, tracing his own itinerary along the various branches of his instinct.
