With almost a whole week of opening events for the Saint Barth Photo Festival since its inaugural party, the opening event of David Bellemere‘s exhibition on November 29th at Le Sereno brings a sense of calm with images that celebrate the harmony between the human form and Nature.
While the French photographer’s work is often described as delicate, the selection for the Saint Barth Photo Festival brings a unique sense of serenity with images in soft colors palette and Nature in large format. By playing with soft shadows and composition with models and wildflowers blending seamlessly, Bellemere’s photographs bring a welcomed sense of peace and calm, celebrating a natural connection between the beauty in Nature and within us.
Born and raised in Paris, Bellemere discovered his love of photography at a young age. After studying visual arts, Bellemere began a career that would establish him as a sought-after force for various renowned French publications by his early 20s. His images have spanned the globe, as he has contributed to many magazines and has had several notable commercial clients.
The St Barth Photo Festival offers an amazing opportunity to immerse, contrast, and compare among the top photographers by carrying out events at a high frequency. It is an excellent opportunity to realize how, despite being often commissioned by magazines or brands, each photographer has a unique visual territory and message.
