Preview

Following the November 13, 2015 attacks in Paris, Camera magazine is producing a special issue to be published on December 11, 2015 to defend our freedoms and help the victims of this tragedy.

The theme: « 100 photographs for life ».

For this special issue, the team has relied on the generosity of photographers. One picture by photographer will illustrate scenes or feelings around freedom: love, brotherhood, joy of life, parties, freedom to think, to create…

100 positive and hopeful images.

The benefits of this project will be donated to the Fondation de France and the special fund “Together against terrorism – #GiveForFrance” (www.giveforfrance.org). This fund was created after the events that have affected France to cover the needs of aid and assistance to families of victims and survivors of the terrorist attacks in Paris and support education activities, fight against racism, citizenship learning to combat youth radicalization that leads to terrorism and acts of barbarism.

The photographers who responded positively to the call by Camera include great names such as William Klein, Raymond Depardon, Bruce Davidson, Henri Cartier Bresson, Martine Franck, Duane Michals, JR, Jill Freedman, Jerry Schatzberg, Mary Ellen Mark, Susan Meiselas , Bertien Van Manen, Alex and Rebecca Webb, Elliott Erwitt, Rosalind Solomon, Marc Riboud, Jacques Henri Lartigue, JH Engstrom, Harry Gruyaert, Patrick Zachmann, Bruno Barbey, Joakim Eskildsen, Denis Dailleux, Jean-Christian Bourcart Claude Iverné and Many other young people.
