This year, the jury of the Prix Picto , led by photographer Paolo Roversi and made up of figures from the world of photography, luxury, art, and media, is gathering to choose the 2017 winners among the twenty-four portfolios chosen. The Eye of Photography would like to give you a taste of the finalists’ work. Here we have Alexandra Sophie, photographer based in Paris and who already works for the biggest fashion magazines; Fiona Torre, from l’Ecole des Gobelins with a strong documentary style; Maria Baoli of Spain, who went through Agnès Carda photography school and whose work is concerned with intimacy, daily life, and the body; Maud Chalard, who intimately reproduces moments of sharing and reveals the poetry of the landscapes she crosses; and Théo Gosselin, partner of Maud Chalard, who himself is interested in journeys and nature in a cinematographic style.
