It’s in Africa that the common theme linking my photographic and painting work was born.
The theme is the frontier and its symbolic.

Utility, necessity of the frontier. Each of my photographies talks about frontier, whatever it is, physical, personal, or the one which defines the real, the illusion or else the one wich protects, confines.
Frontier among the forbidden, the voyeurism, the political correctness.
These photographies have been taken during the last 3 years on the beaches of Belgium and North of France.
Beaches which were my playground every summer when we came back from Africa.
These beaches, frontier between land and water, also witnesses of our summer migrations…
