Jane Jackson, director emeritus of Sir Elton John’s photographic collection, will present his photographic collection at the Ace Ballroom Hotel in Pittsburgh (United States) at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 28. This discussion is organized as part of the Pittsburgh Photo Fair readings program.
Elton John has been collecting photography for 27 years. His collection was exhibited at the Tate Modern from November 2016 to May 2017, during an exhibition entitled The Radical Eye. Nearly 70 artists and 150 vintage prints compose it. Brassai, Imogen Cunningham, Andre Kertész, Dorothea Lange, Tina Modotti, and Aleksandr Rodchenko are among the artists watched by the British singer-songwriter.
The event is free. A drink will follow the discussion.
