After several years devoted to the exploitation of the Paris Match photographic collection, our collaborator, Agnès Vergez, launches BITL-Bring It To Light, a consulting agency for photographic events. Her idea ? Federate large photo agencies to design exhibitions, sales, and auctions, with the best of photojournalism.
The adventure begins with a first beautiful collaboration with Gamma Rapho: An exhibition-sale of photos of mythical shootings from the 60s to 80s. The Tontons Flingueurs, the Clan of the Sicilians, the Sauvage, the Guignolo, all the great ones are there in the accomplices lenses of Jean Pierre Bonnotte and Giancarlo Botti in particular, which impress as much by their talent as by the luck they had to be there, on the sets, very close to Delon, Gabin, Ventura and the others.
It is at Goûpil le Bistro that the original and limited edition gelatin silver prints are exhibited. Here, the bosses are true film and photo enthusiasts. Here, you taste impeccable traditional French cuisine in the company of the myths of French cinema. Noiret on the set of “la grande bouffe”, Ventura on that of “Adieu Poulet” accompany us in this treat.
