A warm and sparkling greeting to the little world of school… and to that of fruits and vegetables! Striking compositions of peppers, oranges, lemons or celery roots tell that the sensitive Caesar’s vitamin C, little Naïma’s vitamin N or Victor’s vitamin V, along with all the others, form a class overflowing with vitality.
Even the mistress is a butterfly made of salad leaves, bananas and kiwi slices. And, it’s stronger than her “she loves all these children, whether they come from the cold or from a hot country, because she loves the planet ”.
Sensitive touches show the weaknesses of some children or the connivance of others… school is evoked as a unique place of life where everyone thrives among their peers, even if they are so different. It’s all told by Paula, who has a potato head bursting with ideas in the form of bold ginger roots!
The book is dedicated to the 100 years of AGEEM, Association of nursery school teachers.
