Prohibition An Tan Covid – Prohibition en temps de Covid
Prohibition An Tan Covid – Prohibition in Covid time
We are in May 2021 in Guadeloupe, after several confinements and hard-lived travel restrictions, we can once again recharge our batteries in nature, as a family between humans.
Out with my family for art therapy and wellness massage activities in the open air, I take the opportunity to rediscover the less frequented part of Babin beach in Vieux Bourg, a district of the city of Morne a L’eau. After a few minutes of walks and shots of this nature of mixed composition half savannah, half mangrove; I see under the vegetation of a seaside grape tree (Coccoloba uvifera) this table set with a view of the sea.
Perplexed I approach it, find that it has been abandoned there for some time in view of the work of nature on this table set for three people.
Hidden in the less visited part of the beach was this table put there to discreetly enjoy a repressed freedom that eventually will be beautiful and well was it a magico-religious act of protection of a business in danger by the crisis situation?
It is for me the witness of the time of a prohibited and repressed act of this period of health crisis and a series Prohibition an tan covid (Prohibition in times of covid).
