The project is about London’s cars which have been badly repaired from they owner. A beautiful Bentley and a ruined old van directly from the 70’s are both fixed in the same way, roughly with some insulating tape, or painted in a very unrefined way. What really catch my attention is that expensive and not expensive cars share the same “mended” look. From financial district to Poplar it is interesting to see disappear in this tiny detail the gap between social classes, the tape became now the gatherer among different people from different backgrounds and social classes.
