La Galerie Jean-Denis Walter in Paris is dedicated to sports photography. It was founded a little over a year ago by JD Walter, former photo director and editor-in-chief of L’Equipe.
“I met so many great photographers during my thirteen years at L’Equipe that the idea came to me naturally,” says Walter. “The concept is new. No other gallery like it exists. I exhibit all kinds of work and take a radical approach to the themes. Every style is welcome. Some of the artists I represent are specialists, but all of them share their personal and aesthetic vision of this particular world.”
The second part of the exhibition Regards sur le sport opened on December 27th and runs through the end of January.
