Every week, L’Oeil de la Photographie presents the radio program Regardez voir, produced by Brigitte Patient on France Inter. Meeting with Klavdij Sluban and Patrick Delat at Villa Pérochon.
Klavdij Sluban is a French photographer of Slovenian origin born in Paris in 1963. The winner of many prestigious awards, Sluban’s personal work is rigorous and coherent, making him one of the most interesting photographers of his generation. Filled with literary references, his many photographic voyages have taken him into the heart of current events from China and the Caribbean to the Balkans, Russia, China and the Kerguelen Islands. The deep blacks and backlit silhouettes of his photographs are free of any trace of exoticism.
