For the eighth consecutive year, SAIF is joining forces with the festival dedicated to women photographers, Les femmes s’exposent, which will be held in Houlgate from June 6 to September 2, 2025, and is launching on this occasion the 2025 call for applications for the Prix SAIF – LES FEMMES S’EXPOSENT.
The prize rewards a woman photographer for her artistic work, it highlights her talent and her style. This year the theme of the award is “Possible Futures”.
Candidates are invited to embrace the power of photography to imagine, contemplate or discover… Photography is often considered a witness of time, how can it speak of the stories of tomorrow and be an actor in the invention of future horizons? What futures can we project ourselves into given the current state of our planet and our societies? What visions should we bring to our daily lives and the world of tomorrow?
The announcement of the winner chosen by the jury will be made during the opening weekend of the festival in June. The winner will be rewarded with a prize of €3,000. She will be able to exhibit her series at the UPP – Maison des Photographes in Paris in November 2025, the production of this exhibition will be supported to the tune of €2,000.
The call for applications is open until April 15, 2025. The results will be announced during the opening weekend of the festival in June in Houlgate Normandy.
