There are many Porsche photographs. In collaboration with the author Bastian Fuhrmann, the CAPITIS Studios / Berlin is presenting, for the first time, works that focus on the people behind the sports car cult. Be it through early black and white shots shortly after the company´s founding, private pictures of James Dean, exhibited as fine art prints for the first time after an extensive restoration work by the Japanese Seita Ohnishi Collection, close ups from the pit lane of Le Mans or portraits of the company founders themselves: each work documents a deep passion for the brand and makes it appears in an unfamiliar light.
The international show presents photo works by Alexander Babic, Robert Brembeck, Frank Kayser, Studio Kippenberger, Anatol Kotte, Bart Kuykens, Chris Labrooy, Andre Lotterer, Edward Quinn, Sanford H. Roth, Amy Shore, Hans Truöl and others.
It is realized with the kind support by CEWE, ILFORD, Leica Camera and LFI – Leica Fotografie International.
