“Paleogene”
The word refers to a geological period and comes from the Greek: “ancient birth”. This series reflects my ultimate photographic goal: to be a little out of this world. It is endless work. My photos represent the soil, the air, the fauna, the water and the current Anthropocene period. They try to achieve an idea of infinity, but that idea is doomed to failure. Our finitude will always prevail, we are magnetized to the ground. Here are photographic attempts to come to terms with our finitude.
