Her name is Phoebe Erwitt Smolan. She is the daughter of Rick Smolan, the granddaughter of Elliott Erwitt and it was Eliane Laffont who pushed her to exhibit her images at PICTO New York until March 23, 2025. Her exhibition entitled Ephemera is announced as follows:
In her project , Phoebe delves into the ephemeral nature of existence, capturing intimate portraits and candid narratives that explore themes of queer love and identity.
Her work is a testament to the transient beauty found in life’s fleeting moments, immortalizing scenes that vanish almost as quickly as they appear.
