The French Bookshop Albertine, held by the French Institute of New York, proposes this Tuesday May 23 a discussion on photography and poetry. The discussion will be lead by the two poets Andrew Seguin and Jérôme Game. The first of these writers is an American author. His latest book, The Room In Which I Work was published by Ownidaw in 2017. It is based on the life of Niecéphore Niepce. The second is a French writer living in New York. His latest poetry publishing entitled Developments (Manucius editions) approaches the image in synaesthesia with music, forms and contemporary experiences.
The two poets will discuss their relationship to photography in their poetic practice and the articulation of the image through words and senses. Talks will be in English.
An evening with Andrew Seguin and Jérôme Game.
