Photo Review, the American magazine created in 1976, will celebrate tomorrow, Saturday, October 28, its 41st anniversary at the University of Arts (Philadelphia). For the occasion, a large sale of photographs is organized. All profits will go to the magazine.
For the occasion, many international photographers as well as local artists will be highlighted. Visitors will find Berenice Abbott, Eugene Atget, Harry Callahan, Robert Capa, Imogen Cunningham, Edward S. Curtis, Frantisek Drtikol, Louis Faurer, Philippe Halsman, Gertrude Käsebier, Germaine Krull, Jacques Laroque, Dora Maar, Lisette Model, Irving Penn, Arthur Rothstein, August Sander, Edward Steichen, Lou Stoumen, Deborah Turbeville, Doris Ulmann, Garry Winogrand for the classical and historical side of photography. There is also a modern and contemporary line-up, including Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Larry Fink, Robert Frank, William Klein, Josef Koudelka, Danny Lyon, Rania Matar, Duane Michals, Arno Rafael Minkkinen and Joel-Peter Witkin.
