Since 2020, Photo Days invites you to a unique photographic trip in Paris and its region. During the month of November, each year, Photo Days brings together museums, cultural institutions, galleries, foundations, fairs and festivals to introduce amateurs and the curious to the extent of global photographic production.
But the main ambition of Photo Days is to discover exceptional places through unique works created custom made by little or unknown artists, as well as internationally renowned ones. Since 2020, 25 exhibitions have been held in atypical locations.
Always supporting creation, Photo Days has also initiated, alongside the Paris Tourist and Congress Office, a Grand Prize for Photography with €15,000, an exhibition in Paris and a catalog. The first edition, on the theme “Paris Vert” (Green Paris), was won by SMITH in 2021 and exhibited at La Caserne in 2022. In 2023, Letizia Le Fur won with the theme “Paris Jeux”, and her project on “small games “.
For its 5th edition, Photo Days is renewing itself by investing in new emblematic places: the Carrousel du Louvre, which will present a new series tailor-made by Juliette Agnel, the Cinéma L’Arlequin, with a proposal by Ariane Michel, and SPOT24 , which will exhibit the Grand Prix winner, Letizia Le Fur.
Finally, for the first time, Photo Days is publishing a retrospective catalog of the festival five years, thanks to the support of the Antoine de Galbert Foundation.
