Photography is taking a color
Before being a capture of the visible, photography is a take of color.
By turning away from camera, these works question our relationship with the image.
Beyond the dialectal link with the pictorial arts, they use color as material, since 2008, I use the digital camera as a tool for collecting and depositing colour without rework images. All traces of reality is dematerialized and returned to the status of arranged colors on a surface. So, each photograph carries within it the actions that have occurred ant the purpose behind it.
Photographs shown here are a selection from several series.
