Time flies when you’re having fun. The last of the four big fashion weeks came to a conclusion in Paris last week, and for many of us the craziness is over, for now. Beaches beckon. Looking beautiful and glamorous non-stop for four weeks is tiring after all, and the imagemakers of this month’s selection certainly deserve an umbrella in their cocktail.
Lindsey Wixon shows off some new season beauty inspirations in these images by Theo Wenner for Self Service’s Spring/Summer 2012 issue. And in the latest French Revue de Modes, Thierry le Goues captures the iconic Cindy Crawford showing off her incredible legs in a shot reminiscent of her heyday.
Another top model ensuring her comeback, Hannelore Knuts, poses decisively in this shot by Horst Diekgerdes for ELLE US’s March 2012 issue, while models Anja Rubik and Karmen Pedaru go provocative in these images by Glen Luchford for Self Service’s Spring/Summer 2012 issue.
In Marie Claire Italy’s March issue, photographer Thomas Krappitz makes waves with model Truus Hooiveld, and Ioanna Ntenti gets ready to dive in them for Tank Magazine’s Spring/Summer issue in this photo by Alexander Neumann.
In Numéro’s issue 131, Sebastian Kim goes for contrast in his shots of Kasia Struss, a beautiful play on movement and light, respectively. For the same issue, Greg Kadel captures a funnier atmosphere, think great space age films and amusement parks, in these photos of model Sigrid Ågren.
Steven Klein gets playful on an entirely different level in this disturbingly odd story featuring models Karolina Kurkova and Crystal Renn for Interview US’s March 2012 issue. The mood doesn’t end there, with Sarah Moon’s hauntingly romantic shots of model Codie Young for 10 Magazine’s Spring issue.
Going for another beauty point-of-view on the current season’s inspirations, photographer Daniel Sannwald takes things to extremes in this simple yet completely off the wall shot of model Anastasija for the newly launched German edition of Interview’s March 2012 issue. And Eric Guillemain goes for classic beauty for the equally new Russian edition of Interview, of French actress Lea Seydoux.
Italian ELLE brings classic to the streets in this snapshot-esque image by Cedric Buchet of models Mika van Winkle and Hind Sahli for the magazine’s March 2012 issue. And famed lensman Paolo Roversi gives classic a new cut in his story for Italian Vogue’s March issue of model Arizona Muse, while the photographic duo Hunter & Gatti shot these simply pretty images for Spanish Vogue’s latest Special Brides issue.
For Another Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2012 issue Swedish photographer Martina Hoogland Ivanow shot this quietly soft moment, while Willy Vanderperre went a bit more dramatic in this image of American actress Jessica Chastain for the same issue’s cover story.
