Just like cars and chocolate, death is the subject of a professional salon. The death salon! with its exclamation point, will take place in Paris’ Carrousel du Louvre from April 8 through 11, 2011. Jean-Pierre Jouët and Jessie Westenholtz, the creators of the FIAC, the Salon du Livre and the Salon Nautique, are the Death salon creators.
In a western society where death remains taboo, this very first professional salon on the issue is designed to help the general public “talk about death to live better”. Full text in French version. (Stand J9 – Salle Soufflot)
