Paris Photo, the world’s largest international art fair dedicated to the photographic medium had to cancel the first edition of Paris Photo New York. The fair presents the launch of Paris Photo New York Online Catalogue, on view until April 30, 2020. The new initiative provides 173 galleries and publishers a platform to showcase artworks to the fair’s global community. Collectors will be able to contact participating galleries directly for sale inquiries. Over 1,200 works will be on view to browse by gallery, publisher, or sector.
“We are delighted to be able to provide access to these incredible artworks and allow exhibitors a platform to engage with our international network. We hope the public will also find respite in the power of the photographic medium,” said Florence Bourgeois, Director.
The platform showcases a selection of works intended for the inaugural edition, originally scheduled for April 2-5, 2020. Paris Photo will announce new dates for the fair’s first edition at a later date.
