Introduction
Inaugurated in January 2006, Peter Lav Gallery is a relatively new gallery. Our focus is on contemporary art photography and the gallery sees it as its task to promote and further the careers of young, emerging artists working with the photographic medium as part of their artistic work.
Peter Lav Gallery is the first gallery in Copenhagen which focuses exclusively on contemporary photography. All artists represented by Peter Lav Gallery have previously had had their work shown in galleries, museums and exhibitions in Scandinavia and throughout Europe.
What is your point of view on the financial side of the photographic market today ?
We experience an optimistic situation with a maturing and increasingly demanding international market for art photography.
