The Palais du Roi de Rome, Musée de Rambouillet exhibits “Perturbations photographiques / Images mémoires” by Nicolas Baghir until January 5, 2025. He is presented as follows:
Nicolas Baghir Maslowski was born in Paris in 1974. He lives there and work. He took his first photos as a teenager and photographed from the end of the 90s many singers and musicians.
It was in 2011 that his first Perturbations Numericales were born, silver photographs taken in blocks of ice that he sculpts using metal tools. This work is exhibited from 2015 by Photo Gallery XII; he presents his first Perturbations Couleurs (PNC) in 2016 in Los Angeles then developed its Passeports Photographiques from 2018 (photographs taken when taking of view that he embeds in his paintings through plays of reflections through a window). Since that same year, he has been carrying out his project « La Chambre – Hors la chambre » in a micro-workshop where he manages to express his different artistic approaches in streams photographs which he defines as anti-series.
