“St. Albans” is a series on my hometown of St. Albans, Queens, NY. Saint Albans is a Middle-Class town primarily known for the musical artist who where born or have lived there at some point. Artists like James Brown, Miles Davis, Lena Horne and A tribe called quest. This series includes landscapes of Saint Albans and portraits of people I grew up with, workers and people who have lived in St. Albans.
Elias Williams is a landscape, portrait and still life photographer based in Bronx, NY. His interests in photography developed from sports in high school where he photographed his school’s basketball teams. After graduating from high school, he attended LaGuardia Community College where he later switched his interests to landscapes, portraits and still life. In 2012, Williams graduated from LaGuardia Community College earning his Associate’s Degree in Commercial photography.
