These five sections of pictures all fuse with each other. Yesterday is today. Today is tomorrow. Time is only and ever now. And as my friend, aaron siskind tells us, “photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured for ever…it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
The nudes, and the portraits of other photographers, and the pictures of rosie and minami and of myself are always a look into a proscenium, or stage where the play or theater of ourselves always continues to play out, until that intersection of time/ space when the camera steps in, and freezes that ineffable interplay, that is sometimes, hopefully, a memorable visual moment.
That is my work, and what i love to do every day of my life.
