For the fourth and final stage of this Italian photographic journey, Thierry Maindrault takes us back to Senigallia. This city is a symbol of photography in the minds of all Italian photographers. No festivals or exceptional events, but a real cultural anchor.
Professor Giorgio Bonomi art critic has collected many self-portraits of Italian photographers. His quest has allowed him to collect the works of more than 300 famous photographers. From this collection, he has already published two volumes “IL CORPO SOLITARIO” [The Solitary Corps]. In this book he lists the creators who have expressed themselves through self-portrait. A third volume is currently in preparation.
To ensure the sustainability of this work, since 2015, all the works have been entrusted to Musinf who must ensure the archival and preservation.
