Senigallia in the Marches, near the Adriatic (Ancona). This City is linked to the photography as a whole and leaves at the disposal of the association of “Misa” a nice building to share with the Contemporary Art the MUSINF.
The photographic association “Misa” preserves, manages and operates a very large photographic archives, much of which concerns “the school of Misa” created by Emanuele Bugatti, Ferruccio Ferroni and Mario Giacomelli. The essence of the inspiration for this creative flow came from Giuseppe Cavalli (the man of the manifesto of the “Bussola” in Milan).
Moreover, despite a lack of financial resources, a small band of passionate volunteers managed to archive the collections from donations, to save thousands of old negatives of all types (wet collodion, autochrome etc.), to digitise them and to make analogic prints for some.
Of course, the association offers the opportunity to obtain, on loan for exhibitions, famous and less famous works that have an artistic and / or an essential technical interest.
