For the 2014 edition, the festival will be exhibiting new work by Johann Soussi. The photographs were taken on the set of the film Les Fusillés, directed by Philippe Triboit and produced by Mascaret Films.
The photographs take the viewer to the heart of the Great War, finding moments of poetry amid the flying bullets, showing spectacular and intimate scenes at the front and behind it. With this black-and-white film series, the photographer makes his contribution to the duty of memory on this centennial anniversary. The series is being displayed in two different locations and in two different formats: fifteen large-format photographic panels outdoors at the Jardin Anne Frank in Paris complement the exhibition of the full series, held in a former firearm repair workshop in Lilas.
