In 2019, Sacha Goldberger imagined and carried out for the Ardian group an exceptional project to dress the facade of their building site on rue François Premier. This renovation entitled Renaissance could only inspire the artist who had already designed series inspired by Flemish painting such as Super Flemish (exhibited on the facade of the Austerlitz station) or the Louis 114 series, on the imaginary future of Louis XIV and his contemporaries (never before presented).
The project was exhibited 12 meters high by 50 meters long. These 6 portraits specially designed and made for the occasion were visible for a year and a half.
The “1 building, 1 work” charter is part of the ministerial policy of support for artistic creation and the exhibition of visual arts for the broadest public. Signed on December 16, 2015, at the Ministry of Culture, by 13 real estate developers, the “1 building, 1 work” charter has for objective of installing art as close as possible to everyone, on private buildings.
These 13 founding members have since been joined by other companies decided, just like them, to include creation in their approach to social responsibility, by ordering artistic projects for the building programs that they implement throughout France. , respecting the best practices of art by professionals.
All are committed to calling on a living artist, by ordering or purchasing an existing work, in the field of visual arts, and to take charge of the artist’s remuneration, as well as the costs of producing and installing the work.
In 2021, 52 real estate players have signed the charter, including developers, real estate companies and social landlords. Nearly 350 works have been installed.
