Jonas Cuénin, one of our New York contributors, has a passion for Irving Penn, and in particular one of the photographer’s most famous series: Small Trades. Jonas’ web series, “Of Pictures and Men” (Des images et des hommes) is a tribute to that Penn’s work. It focuses on all those in the world of photography who never have the chance to be in the spotlight. Every two weeks, his videos will offer a look into the lives of these photography lovers. The third episode follows Miles Ladin, photographer of New York’s rich and famous, who gives us a tour of the glittering night life. Through Ladin’s lens, we see stars the way we’ve never seen them before.
